Navigation Hints for TTH Files
This page provides some general suggestions for viewing HTML pages
generated using the TTH utility.
I use Ian Hutchinson's excellent
TTH program to
translate TEX and LATEX files, which include
equations and mathematical symbols, into HTML. While the HTML
produced by TTH
can be viewed correctly on most systems, some browsers require minor
adjustments to provide optimal viewing.
- Greek letters and math symbols: if ``abg'' does not appear as the first three letters of the Greek
alphabet, your browser is not displaying the Symbol font. Visit
this link
for instructions on how to enable Symbol fonts.
- Printing: some browsers can display math correctly but
don't use Symbol fonts when printing it out. To obtain a PostScript
version of any page I've produced using
TTH, go to the
end of the page and click on the ``[.ps]'' link you will find there.
