CORK observatory platform

These photos, taken by a camera on the remotely operated vehicle (ROV) JASON,
show the CORK observatory platform at the seafloor (2,600 m depth). The white cylinder is a large volume sampler attached by
the striped tubing to the spigot of the old style fluid delivery line of an original CORK observatory. The CORK platform is
surrounded by sediments.
