Abstract:

I present a review of the status of the search for Near Earth
Objects.  I will discuss the scientific motivations for the
study of objects orbiting close to our planet.  I will show the
results of the major NEO surveys during the last decade and the
new challenge for the next years.  In particular I will discuss
the importance of the search at small solar elongation
