Title: Astronomical Instrumentation at the UK Astronomy Technology Centre Ian Bryson UKATC, Edinburgh Abstract: After a brief introduction to the UK ATC, our facilities and areas of expertise I will describe some of our recent and present instrumentation projects, including Michelle (mid-IR Imager and Spectrometer for UKIRT and Gemini), UIST (near IR imaging spectrometer for UKIRT with IFU capability), GMOS (multi-object spectroscopy for Gemini), VISTA (a 4 m survey telescope), SCUBA-2 (the next generation submm array camera for the JCMT), WFCAM (the wide-field infrared camera for UKIRT), and MIRI (the mid-IR camera for the JWST). I will conclude by describing some future projects, including the Gemini instrument we are proposing to do with the IfA.
