Title: Results from the FEPS Spitzer Legacy Program John Carpenter Caltech Abstract: FEPS (Formation and Evolution of Planetary Systems) is a Spitzer Legacy Program designed to trace the evolution of circumstellar disks around solar-type stars. The FEPS sample consists of 314 stars that span the age range from 3 Myr when accretion from a primordial disk terminates, to 3 Gyr when many stars are surrounded by mature planetary systems. IRAC/MIPS photometry and IRS low resolution spectra have been obtained for each star to measure the spectral energy distribution between 3.6 and 70 microns and identify sources with infrared excesses diagnostic of circumstellar disks. I will present recent results from FEPS and compare the observations with simple models for the evolution of planetesimal belts.
