Abstract:

I take people on a journey from the top of our sacred
mountain Mauna O Wakea. I start out at the top of the
mountain in wao akua (realm of the Gods) down to the sea
within the ahupua`a. Taking them through the different wao
(realms) journeying through the ancient adze quarry, by
Lake Waiau, talking of the different gods & goddess' that
are associated with Mauna Kea. I do chants & invite others
to join with the words & translations on the screen. I
share my manao (thoughts & ideas), knowledge & experiences
with everyone. I bridge the gap between the Hawaiian &
Astronomical communities.
