Title: Cosmology with the Cosmic Microwave Background Anisotropies Pablo Fosalba Institute for Astronomy University of Hawaii Abstract: The cosmic microwave backround radiation (CMB) has become one of the main pillars of modern cosmology. First, I will give a brief review of the theory of CMB anisotropies. Secondly, I will discuss recent experiments including the NASA Wilkinson Microwave Anistropy Probe (WMAP), and I will finish by showing recent results from the joint data analysis of CMB and Galaxy surveys (such as the SDSS) and the new cosmological information they bring.
