Measuring Cosmological Parameters

Abstract:

I will discuss measurements of cosmological parameters,
with particular focus on measurements of the Hubble
constant and dark energy. I will give an update on the
status of the Carnegie Supernova Program, a project to
followup type I and type II supernovae using the Swope,
Dupont and Magellan telescopes at Las Campanas.
Finally, I will describe current plans for building a
20-meter-class optical telescope, the Giant Magellan
Telescope.
