Lori Lubin Caltech Title : Charting Cluster Evolution since z ~ 1 Abstract : The current results of an extensive photometric, spectroscopic, and morphological study of nine candidate clusters of galaxies at redshifts of z > 0.6 will be presented. I will discuss the properties of three massive clusters at redshifts between z = 0.76 and z = 0.92. Specifically, I will focus on the global dynamical properties of the clusters and the characteristics of the member galaxies. The results at high redshift will be compared to previous studies of nearby clusters and those at intermediate redshifts in order to constrain the evolution in the galaxy population, the X-ray/optical relations of massive clusters, and the morphology-density relation.
