Title: Recent Developments at CFHT Dr. Eugene Magnier IfA/CFHT CFHT is bringing several exciting initiatives online in the next 1.5 semesters. These include a new instrument (CFHT IR), new observing practices (QSO & Remote Observing), and a new data handling strategy (Elixir). CFHT IR is a new 1024 x 1024 IR array for work at f/8 giving it a FOV of about 3.5 arcmin. QSO / Remote Observing will make CFHT more flexible and hopefully more scientifically productive, starting in semester 2001A. Elixir will facilitate the analysis of data from the large mosaic cameras by providing high quality flat-fields and image calibrations, both photometric and astrometric. I will discuss all of these topics in some detail, concentrating on my own contributions with Elixir
