Space Weather: a User's Perspective

Abstract:

In this talk, we will look at Space Weather through its solar causes,
effects and impact on human life and technologies. We will also discuss
users' applications and needs, and ongoing projects.
As an illustration, we will present a scientific application to Space
Weather: An event that was first observed first on Earth, and which was
subsequently studied using a novel approach to trace its origin at the
Sun.
