Measuring the Shape of the Galaxy Fluctuation Spectrum from SDSS The talk will discuss the issues related to analyzing large scale photometric and spectroscopic surveys of galaxies. It will present the first results from the analysis of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey data, just released the public. The talk will also discuss how to compute the relevant statistics once catalogs approach hundreds of millions of objects, soon to be the case with the new sky surveys, forming the basis of the virtual observatories.
