Astrophysics on the High Frontier of High Resolution Gerard van Belle Jet Propulsion Laboratory The impact of the ground-based interferometry projects at JPL upon basic astrophysical parameters will be presented. Specifically, results from the Palomar Testbed Interferometer will be covered, including: angular diameters of giant and supergiant stars, and the resulting linear radii and effective temperatures; determination of orbits for binary stars, and the resultant masses; and dual-star astrometry at PTI. All of these results involve spatial resolution at 2.2 microns at the 0.1 to 10 milliarcsecond level.
