Dr. Peter Wizinowich Keck Observatory Thursday, June 3, 1999 IfA Auditorium, 12:00 noon Title "Adaptive Optics and Interferometry at Keck Observatory" Abstract Most of the talk will concentrate on results from the natural guide star adaptive optics facility which is currently being commissioned on the Keck 2 telescope. The idea is to give UH astronomers some idea of the science they might be able to perform with this system. There will also be some time spent on facilities still under development including the laser and interferometer.
