Herschel Lensing Survey (HLS) and Hubble/Spitzer Subaru Deep Field (SDF) Survey
Eiichi Egami

I will present results from two large programs our group is currently conducting: (1) Herschel Lensing Survey (HLS), and (2) Hubble/Spitzer Subaru Deep Field (SDF) Survey. The fist survey observes ~580 massive galaxy clusters with Herschel (PACS & SPIRE) to discover and study gravitationally lensed infrared-luminous galaxies at high redshift (z>1). I will describe the survey and discuss our on-going follow-up efforts with SMA, IRAM, PdBI, and JVLA. One highlight is a detailed study of an exceptionally bright lensed galaxy at z=5.24. The second survey observes a sample of ~70 spectroscopically confirmed 5.7 < z < 7 galaxies in the Subaru Deep Field using HST (NICMOS & WFC3) and Spitzer (IRAC). I will discuss the rest-frame UV properties and present a preview of full SED analysis.
