The Rosetta Comet Rendezvous Mission
Paul Weissman

ESA's Rosetta mission, with participation by NASA, arrived at comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko in August 2014, the first ever comet rendezvous mission. A lander, Philae, was deployed to the surface of the nucleus on November 12, 2014, the first-ever nucleus landing (after a few bounces). This talk will review some of the many exciting results from Rosetta and Philae and their implications for comets in general, and for the origin of the solar system.
