Spring 2010 Astronomy 110 MWF 9:30 — 10:20

Astronomy 110 is a lecture course surveying the astronomical universe. The goal is to present a modern astronomical prespective on the universe, to discuss the scientific method, and to illustrate the unity of natural phenomena. There are no college-level prerequisites; high-school algebra and geometry are used from time to time, and physical laws and concepts will be discussed as needed. This course fulfills the Distribution Requirement for a Physical Science (DP).
