Maui Community College (MCC) is developing a new program in electro-optics engineering technology. AWI has been significantly involved in this process, through [TeCC], by supporting faculty time for planning and curriculum development, and by the development of the first course to be offered in the new program:
Instrumentation Course (ETRO 102, Mark Hoffman & John Pye):
Introduces fundamental principles and applications of optics, electronics, engineering, and computer software integral to the operation of instrumentation. Includes visiting scientist/engineer teaching teams ([TeCC] teams) who are developing new instructional units.
