May Day is Lei Day!  Leilehua Yuen and Manu Josiah join us to haku stories, chants, songs and hula into a lei of aloha for our island.  In this presentation, "I'll Weave a Lei of Stars for You," this husband and wife team discuss the many variety of lei: haku, napu'u, hili and others, and their variety of meaning, both metaphorical and literal.  Their significance and importance in the Hawaiian culture is ancient and also evolving.  As always, we are honored to have this amazing couple come share their mana'o, their perspective and wisdom of this beautiful place some of us are so fortunate to call home.
