	The Manoa Instrument Shop has upgraded its computer network connection and wiring.  08/30/2006
	New Komatsu forklift truck arrives in Manoa on 08/04/2004.

                           

Hurco's senior service technician performed laser calibration on our three older Hurco CNC machines.

                          

On 05/03/2004 the new Hurco VM1 is in service at our Manoa Instrument Shop.

 

The Pan-STARRS project has purchased a new Hurco VM1 CNC Vertical Machining Center.  It is in our Manoa Instrument shop and is scheduled to be setup by the Hurco service technician on 05/03/2004.

 

	The Kearney & Trecker milling machine is in service on 01/16/2004
	On 09/30/2003 we took possession of a Kearney & Trecker universal milling machine from the Physics department.  Pictures will follow after installation.
	We now have a Brown & Sharpe Intrimik Set ranging from .275" to 8.000".
	The Pleiades sculpture is back.  Reinstallation was completed on 08/07/2003.  Preliminary work on this restoration project began in November 1999.
	We have replaced our old Hobart Cyber TIG GTAW welding machine with a new Lincoln Precision TIG 375.  This new machine gives us pulsed GTAW capability.
	The infrared camera "Kermit" was shipped to the AEOS Telescope on 04/03/2003.
	Welcome aboard to Ryan Bradley.  Ryan will be working in the Manoa Instrument Shop.
	Welcome aboard to Paul Toyama.  Paul will be working in the Manoa Instrument Shop.
	Welcome aboard to Lou Robertson.  Lou will be working in the Manoa Instrument Shop.

The AEOS Spectrograph is set up at the AEOS Telescope, part of the Maui Space Surveillance Complex at Haleakala on 04/16/2002.

The AEOS Spectrograph left our Manoa Instrument Shop for Hickam Air Force Base on 4/8/2002.  It was flown to Maui on an Air National Guard C-130 "Hercules" on 04/10/2002.

Installation of the Auerbach FBE-1500 by Ixion-Auerbach's Service Engineer, Mike Gaede, began on 01/31/2002.  Here are some pictures.
