Introduction Search Fields Author Controlled Index Numerical Chemical Astronomical Tutorials
INSPEC has many different fields in which to perform or limit a search. Including the 15 fields show below, there are also 47 Numerical and 8 Chemical Data fields, all of which are accessed with the pull down menu. The default is 3 search boxes but you can add up to 22 additional boxes. The fields with the little gray key next to them have indexes that are both searchable and browsable, and are accessed by clicking on the key. You can also limit the time frame of your search at the very end. Note: It is important to remember that many of INSPEC's search fields are unique to this database so they cannot be used in when searching multiple databases at once.
