Mauna Kea Observatories Communications Network

Introduction

The Institute for Astronomy is operating the Mauna Kea Observatories Communications Network (MKOCN), which provides high bandwidth data communications between the telescope facilities on Mauna Kea, the Mid-level Facility at Hale Pohaku, the University of Hawaii Manoa campus (UHM), other UH campuses via the University of Hawaii Network, and telescope base facilities in Hilo and Waimea.
