In this informal, evening lecture, Tim Slater will review the global forces that influence volcanism observed on the Earth's surface. Participants will review the concept of plate tectonics and its implications during an interactive lecture, conduct a short hands-on activity using a puzzle, and make predictions about where the world is most likely to find volcanism.
