Chija is currently a graduate student in physics / astronomy education at Montana State Universtiy, specializing in program evaluation. she got her undergraduate degree in physics from Bethany College. Ultimately Chija hopes to obtain a faculty position at a major research universtiy in a physics department where she can work towards improvement in physics and astronomy education at levels K-16 and in the general public.

Chija has experience collecting and analysing data for collaborative leaning strageties in introductory courses for non-science majors, and will be heavily involved in the program evaluation for TOPS.
