B. Lynn Wilson - Biography

Beverly Lynn Wilson graduated from the University of Redlands in California with a major in English and a minor in mathematics. She has completed graduate work in education at Roosevelt University in Chicago and the University of California at Irvine.

Bev taught reading, English, journalism, and math in secondary schools in Illinois and California. She helped to develop a new high school English curriculum and served as newspaper advisor, yearbook advisor, and gifted and talented education chair.

Bev never had time to write while she was teaching, so she became a technical writer. She has spent the last several years writing computer manuals, managing information, working with engineers to design Web-based applications, developing training curricula, and training users to manage and administer integrated computer systems with complex databases.

As part of her career development, Bev volunteers her services to the community. She manages databases for her high school reunion committee and the Honolulu Symphony Guild Fun Run. She has taught region-wide leadership training courses for the United Methodist Church and is the Education Commission chair for Aiea United Methodist Church.

Hobbies include reading, hiking, swimming, scuba diving, photography, and astronomy.
