Moon Phases Observing — “Top View” of Moon’s Orbit

 

For each of the dates that you observed the Moon’s phase and position:

Draw a small Moon in its approximate position on the orbit shown below, as seen if you looked down from outer space far above the Earth’s north pole. 

Label each position with the date and with the name of the Moon’s phase on that date. 

Finally, put an arrow on the Moon’s orbit showing which direction it revolves around the Earth.
