Andrew W. Howard

I am member of the IfA faculty in Honolulu, Hawaii.  My research team discovers and characterizes planets orbiting other stars.

I am interested in super-Earths and Earth-size planets, particularly their occurrence, compositions, diversity, and origins.  My research uses Doppler spectroscopy, Kepler photometry, and transit spectrophotometry.
