Lunar Eclipse Photographs

I observed the partial eclipse of the Moon on October 17 through thin, scattered clouds. The shadow was apparent by 01:00 HT. Cloud cover increased after mid-eclipse, limiting observations of the later stages. The images below may be combined to produce a crude animation (1.1 Mbyte gif).

All images were taken using a 6-inch scope with a 25 mm eyepiece and a Nikon Coolpix 995 camera. Some were taken through thin clouds, so it's not entirely possible to match contrast and brightness from image to image.
