Homework 4. Planetary Surfaces

Compare the surface features of Venus, the Earth, and Mars. Which planet has the oldest surface? Which has the youngest? Which planet has the greatest variety of surface features? In comparing these three planets, give some specific examples of

  1. impact craters,
  2. volcanic features,
  3. tectonic activity,
  4. erosion.

When possible, give examples from several planets.
