Homework 8. Spectral Lines

Use the diffraction grating handed out in class (10/13) to look at spectra of several different light sources, including an ordinary light bulb, a neon sign, a streetlight, and two more of your own chosing. Which of these sources produce a continuous spectrum, which produce bright spectral lines, and which produce both? Give your answers below, and sketch the spectrum for each.
