Dear Nat Sci Chairs,

The Natural Sciences Curriculum Committee (NSCC) will meet twice this 
semester to consider curricular proposals:

A) For the FIRST NSCC meeting: Curricular Proposals (Original and 10 
copies) are due Biology Program Office via Dean Hayes on February 20, 
2002.  Proposals received after this date will be reviewed at the second 
NSCC meeting.

B) For the SECOND NSCC meeting: Curricular Proposals (Original and 10 
copies) are due Biology Program Office via Dean Hayes on March 6, 2002.

C) Proposals submitted after March 8, 2002 will be reviewed in fall//2002.

D) Proposals that are approved by NSCC, Dean Hayes, Ron Cambra's office and 
Bachman by the end of December will appear in the next catalog.

E) Reminder: proposals are to be forwarded to the Dean' office and your 
correspondence or memo should be addressed to Dean Hayes.

F) Please note the following:

1) UHM-1 is required for all curricular proposals,
2) For substantial modifications and proposed addition of courses, 
questions 1-6 from Ron Cambra's memo on "Quidelines for Curricular 
Proposals need to be addressed
3) For 300-400 level courses, question 7 needs to be addressed.
4) For graduate courses question 8 needs to be addressed.
