REDSHIFT DISTRIBUTION OF B SELECTED GALAXIES
The redshift distribution of the B selected galaxy sample as a function
of B magnitude for the Hubble deep field (left panels) and for the
Hawaii deep fields (right panels). The solid histogram shows the distribution of
galaxies with spectroscopic redshifts. For the Hubble field we have
shown the remaining objects at their color estimated redshift (open
histogram) while for the Hawaii fields we show unobserved objects
at z=3.1 and unidentified objects at z=3. The completeness of
identification in the Hawaii fields is also shown.
