Research
I am beginning my PhD thesis at IfA/UH, studying young, low mass stars and brown dwarfs in nearby moving groups and clusters. My thesis advisor is John Rayner (IfA); committee members: Ann Boesgaard, Adam Burgasser, Eric Gaidos, George Herbig, and Bo Reipurth.

I have successfully proposed my thesis; check out a sample bingo card from my public proposal talk here.

My masters thesis work focused on T dwarfs, namely their atmospheric properties and multiplicity. This work was done with John Rayner and Mike Liu at the IfA; Davy Kirkpatrick (IPAC/Caltech) and Adam Burgasser (MIT).

My undergraduate work involved searching for photometric transits of known extrasolar planets with Dave Charbonneau and finding/studying nearby and exotic low mass brown dwarfs with Davy Kirkpatrick using 2MASS.
