I helped Billy & Sheila get a digital camera mounted to their
motor-glider. They've started an aerial photography &
surveying company.
I've gone up a couple times to get the procedures down, and helped a
bit with the mosaicing.
The pictures are pretty fantastic - they have a 16MPix Canon with the
top lenses. Too bad I don't make much money..... I'd buy
one.
I made these mosaics - they are photoshop stitches of few to several
full-resolution
digital shots. They're huge. 40-80MB jpg images.
This is a single shot from a few thousand feet up of Waimea with a zoom
in showing the detail we can get.
