Olomana Peak Hike, January 2008:
Rising over Windward Oahu is a triplet of peaks called Olomana. Jeff, Sarah, Adrian and I hiked to the 1643 ft peak on what turned out to be a beautiful MLK day. The hike was quite muddy, and parts of it required use of permenant ropes on the trail. Jeff made it to the second peak, while the other three of us stopped at the first and highest. The third peak is the most dangerous, and requires a near-vertical ascent heavily-reliant on ropes and cables.
