A740 - Astrobiology Seminar - Fall 2006

Astr 740 is an interdisciplinary seminar series. Students from any field of science can enroll to receive 1 credit.

The seminar room is equipped with an LCD projector, which can be connected to any laptop or to the seminar room computer. Limited whiteboard space is also available.
The talks are scheduled to last 45?50 minutes, followed by questions. Interruptions during the talk are also common.
The audience is exceptionally diverse, and it is good to begin with a basic introduction and speak at a level intelligible to first-year grad students in science.
