The Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel

Located approximately 40 km North of the Kona airport on the Big Island of Hawaii, the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel offers sophisticated meeting facilties and services. The hotel is part of the Mauna Kea Resort, which boast 2 of Hawa'i's best beaches. The facilities of the entire resort are avaliable, with a total of 660 rooms. The Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel has 350 guest rooms, and the Bioastronomy meeting has a room block of 200 during the peak meeting nights.

The conference facilities will be large and spacious (see dimensions chart), with a large ballroom for the main session, a poster room facility, a computer room, and a few break- out rooms for smaller discussions and for slide previewing. A continental breakfast will be served daily on the breezeway and in the pre-function area for registered participants wearing badges.

Reservations at the hotel may be made directly by calling (800) 882-6060, and identifying yourself as being with the "Bioastronomy Meeting". Specify the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel. You can also print out a reservation form and fill it out to fax to the hotel at (808) 880-3112. Hotel reservations are the responsibility of the individual participants, and not the LOC.
