Travel Support
NASA has agreed to provide some limited travel support for participants
to the Bioastronomy meeting. Criteria for selection includes financial
need and acceptance of a paper (oral or poster) for presentation. We
are awaiting the final written approval for this support. The program
committee will make decisions on travel support applications during
April - or as soon as practical after we get the official notification
from NASA about the availability of funds. To apply for travel support,
please follow the application guidelines below and submit this information
to the Program committee by emailing it to John Rummel
(jrummel@mbl.edu), including a copy to Karen Meech
(meech@ifa.hawaii.edu) no later than May 1, 1999

Application Guidelines
Provide your Name, Address, Telephone/Fax and email
Provide the lowest cost airfare (and airlines) from your city of origin to
Hawaii
Provide your abstract number of your accepted paper
Provide a brief justification as to why you need support. Include a
discussion of other sources of funding you have for the meeting and why these
will not cover the cost of your trip.
Provide a statement about any matching funds available from your country or
institution.
